How to find WAS...

From I-95:
Get off exit 18 (Sherwood Island Connector). Turn left at the end of the ramp coming from I-95 North, (right from I-95 South) and head towards Route 1. At the third light, the connector ends at Route 1. Turn right onto Route 1, and go several lights until you see a Blockbuster video on your left and a BP gas station on the right. Turn left onto North Maple Ave. Go to the second stop sign. Turn left and then a quick right onto Bayberry Lane. Follow Bayberry Lane for approximately two miles to a four-way stop at Cross Highway. Go straight through the intersection and the Observatory entrance roadway is on the right side about 1/4 mile, just before the Merritt Parkway overpass.

From Route 15 (Merritt Parkway):
Get off at Exit 42 (Route 57). Turn left on to Route 57 from Route 15 East, (right from Route 15 West). Go perfectly straight to a stop sign and red blinking light. Go straight through the stop, and at the end of the road turn left onto Cross Highway. Follow Cross Highway to the second four-way stop (Bayberry Lane) and turn left. The Observatory entrance roadway is on the right side about 1/4 mile, just before the Merritt Parkway overpass.
